Hello!
I’m a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at Washington University in St. Louis studying functional brain mapping using high-density diffuse optical tomography and naturalistic stimuli. My primary interests are in developing new imaging techniques and analysis methods for semantic mapping and decoding to develop non-invasive, language-based brain-computer interfaces.
Outside of research, you can find me doing science outreach, learning to play ice hockey, or spending time with my dog, Ada (named after mathematician Ada Lovelace).
Career Highlights:
Successfully defended my thesis on February 14, 2025
Awarded the 2025 SPIE Franz Hillenkamp Postdoctoral Fellowship
Awarded Society for Functional Near-infrared Spectroscopy Student Fellow
Awarded an NIH-T32 graduate fellowship for Imaging Science
